 ### Meaning of **RAM** in Mobile:


**RAM** stands for **Random Access Memory**, and it is a type of **temporary memory** used by mobile devices (like smartphones and tablets) to store data that is actively being used or processed by the device's operating system and applications.


Unlike **ROM** (Read-Only Memory), which stores long-term data like the operating system and apps, **RAM** is **volatile**, meaning it loses all its data when the device is powered off. RAM is used to store information that needs to be quickly accessed by the device’s processor, such as running applications, system processes, and temporary data.


### How RAM Works in a Mobile Device:

- **When you open an app or start a task**: The data and instructions for that task are loaded into RAM so the processor can access them quickly.

- **The more RAM a device has**: The more apps or tasks it can handle simultaneously without slowing down. If the device runs out of available RAM, it might slow down or start closing apps to free up space.
